Stephen Byth - Growth in Stasis (2026) [Hi-Res]

Saxophonist and composer Stephen Byth releases his sophomore lead album, «Growth in Stasis», featuring prominent players from the New York City creative music scene. Grounded in a philosophical insight from Wayne Shorter, the record explores inner conflict, transformation, and modern anxiety through a balance of tight structure and open improvisation. Supported by praise from Walter Smith III and Paris Move, Byth constructs a reflective musical language merging contemporary jazz, chamber classical, cinematic film scoring, and electronic textures.
