Eugene Ball - Continuum: Jazztrack at 50 (2026) [Hi-Res]

Acclaimed Australian trumpeter and composer Eugene Ball premieres «Continuum: Jazztrack at 50», an ABC Jazz commission reflecting on the legacy of Australia's iconic jazz radio program. The work showcases Ball’s signature approach, marked by a broad timbral palette, spacious arrangements, and subtle wit. The program also features Hyperbaroq—a trio comprising Mirko Guerrini, Ilaria Crociani, and Stephen Magnusson—who reimagine baroque music through modern live looping, sampling, and electronic textures.
