It takes an artist a while to make a perfect cd, and I think Lara is on her way. Undoubtedly, Nue sends a vivid message to all who listen to her. What I mean is she doesn't want to be stuck in the same void all her career with the same style.
I read a few reviews before reviewing, so my thoughts are clear as for what I want to say. Yes, it's true. Lara Fabian has created an album which is less screaming, more technical and down to earth. We don't need an explanation why she used such a simple, yet selling cd cover. And inside, the photos are beautiful. I saw Lara's soul when I looked inside the booklet at the photo where she's on her back, looking straight at us.
Now, about the songs. I was surprised to hear track 1, to realize that "J'y crois encore" was already played on the radio before I got the cd. So, I could relate to the song before getting to know the entire album. Honestly, one play through, and you will want to hear the album once a week. All the songs grew on me. And, way at the end of the cd, there's a hidden track, with just piano. Heavenly!
