Jordi Gaspar - Akixí (Bass Solo Opera Prima) (2020)

On the album AKIXÍ by the Spanish bass player Jordi Gaspar there are two songs on which he plays the double bass, only songs for the acoustic bass guitar. Jordi plays the songs composed and arranged especially for his acoustic bass in a very musical way. Often they come easily and dreamily, sometimes a little darker, often virtuoso, more tuning and played like an acoustic guitar. The compositions are complex and influenced by jazz, flamenco and classical modern music. A really great inspiration for every serious (acoustic) bassist.
