Star of stage, screen, TV and records, his career spanned five decades. He is renowned for his crystal clear diction and deep, golden voice. A scholar of music, he was selected by Capitol Records to record an album of selections from a newly discovered book of hymns favoured by Abraham Lincoln. For decades a dedicated member of the Church, he record an album of Psalms because of the quality of his diction and voice.

Here on one CD are all the tracks from these two rare LPs, along with several other sacred recordings from Tex's early days. Hear him sing, narrate and recite a program of Christian-themed pieces, several tracks in stereo. All tracks digitally remastered.
