In 1971, the British band “Web” changed its name to “Samurai” and recorded another album. The dominant role belongs to the keyboard player and singer Dave Lawson - the author and arranger of all seven compositions of the album. The main material is made in the style of heavy progressive. Flavored with wind instruments (why two more invited musicians participate in the project: Tony Roberts - saxophones, flute, clarinet and Don Fay - saxophones, flute), the themes take on a slightly jazz tone. The main "trick" was the use of vibraphone (Lennie Wright), skillfully integrated into the overall musical background. It remains to add that Lawson's talent in the future found application in a number of projects, including “Greenslade”, “Stackridge”, “Foreigner”, Mike Oldfield, Roy Harper and others.
