Jeff Herr Corporation - Five Moons (2026) [Hi-Res]

After an artistic hiatus, the Luxembourg-based trio Jeff Herr Corporation returns with a new album, Five Moons. The band is led by drummer, composer, programmer and sound designer Jeff Herr. In its renewed line-up he is joined by Maxime Bender on tenor and soprano saxophone and Pol Belardi on electric bass and double bass. The previous version of the group relied on acoustic dynamics; now the musicians move into a more modern and daring sound, combining contemporary jazz, improvisation, electronic textures and driving grooves. Lyrical saxophone lines, a deep bass foundation and live, organic drumming create music that is both subtle and forceful.

The material was written and developed during an artistic residency at the Abbaye de Neumünster in Luxembourg from December 2024 to April 2025, while the trio was searching for a new sound that integrates electronic elements. It was recorded in December 2025 and January 2026 at Holtz Sound in Tuntange. The album captures the group in full creative motion: innovation, spontaneity and intense interaction between the musicians shape every performance.
