Keith Fullerton Whitman - ANZAC (2020)

Three-part suite (with overlaid, "Mesh" finale) of computer-controlled Doepfer Modular Synthesizer pieces recorded in a hotel room at the edge of King's Park in West Perth, WA on April 26th, 2006. Thanks to Lawrence English, Tos Mahoney & all at TURA New Music.

One of many strong memories of this trip to Australia was being awoken at dawn on ANZAC day by the almost silent procession up to the Cenotaph & Eternal Flame in King's Park. The following day I recorded this music, and other than a (short) edit of it being released as part of a fundraiser compilation, it has never been issued until now.
