Kitty Cleveland fans are thrilled with her new CD, the first jazz standards release of her career. It's a natural fit given her natural musicality and New Orleans upbringing. "Blue Skies" features a whole new side of Kitty's talent, showcasing a soft and sensual interpretation of these classics. The only song that may be new to jazz fans is "One Day," a song written by Melody Gardot that captured Kitty's attention in 2012. Sophisticated arrangements for Kitty and her 18 musicians were done by Mike Esneault, who has also arranged for Diana Krall and Jane Monheit.
