SL Weiss was one of the greatest composers to write for the lute and was a very accomplished soloist and continuo player. His chamber music has not survived however. Through a combination of artistry and scholarship, Richard Stone has recreated these concerti, producing a score that sounds idiomatically like Weiss in every way. The performances are assured and the recording quality is excellent (something rare in lute music). Highly recommended.
