This is Morten Harkets first solo album in English coming out after a-ha went on hiatus making this the best selling a-ha related solo release. A Kind of Christmas Card is anything but festive yet is the lead single. Los Angeles and the 10cc cover Ready to Go Home show his sensitive side while Lord is about ones faith. East Timor refers to the island country that broke off from Indonesia. Brodsky Tune and Stay are mostly filler. The Sam Cooke classic A Change is Gonna Come is only on the Japanese import but a remaster could also have another remake, the evergreen Can't Take My Eyes Off of You. There would not be another solo album like this until 2008s Letters from Egypt.
