A collection from five centuries of magnificent choral masterpieces sung by the world renown Choir of St. John's College, Cambridge. The choir consists of the voices of 15 young men and 16 young boys(trebles). This CD contains a collection of compositions from early Renaissance composer Gregorio Allegri (1582 – 1652) through 20th Century composers Sergei Rachmaninoff and Ralph Vaughan Williams singing a wonderful litany of sacred music.
