The Essex - A Walkin' Miracle (1963/2020)

Pleasant family-like harmonies were the Essex's trademark, though the members were only family in the sense that they all were Marine Corpsmen. This contains their second biggest hit "A Walkin' Miracle" and its less than successful follow-up, "She's Got Everything." The Essex's unique blend was fun to listen to but with military obligations, singing took a back seat, despite scoring a million seller with "Easier Said Than Done." Other pleasantries include "Curfew Lover," "What I Don't Know Won't Hurt Me," and a remake of Frankie Lymon & the Teenagers' "Why Do Fools Fall in Love."
