Born in Dr. Kong's underground test lab known as "Dragon's Den", with cells collected from the spit of Fred Wesley's Trombone, residuals from the mouthpiece of Herbie Mann's flute, reeds of Maceo Parker's tenor, Jimmy Hendrix's pick, hair straight from Chick Corea's nose, skin particles from Tito Puente's congas, splinters from Dennis Chambers' drum sticks and finally, the nail clippings from Bootsy's right thumb; the funkiest band was born out of stem cells. And now Dr.Kong & the Stem Cells have traveled back in time to bring you the language of the future - music! So let's get together and communicate through this wonderful energy called 'Funk'. Remember.... you can't spell 'Funk' with out the 'Fun".
