The Platters - The Platters Collection (1999)

Known as authors and performers of light music in the heyday of rock and roll. The group consisted of musicians: Tony Williams (lead tenor), David Lynch, Paul Rob, herb Reid, and Zola Taylor.
Over the years of their career, the musicians have recorded about four hundred songs, records have sold 89 million copies worldwide, visited more than 90 countries with concerts, where they collected about 230 different awards. The Platters participated in the filming of films: "Rock Around the Clock", "Girl, I can't help", "Europe at night", "Girls of the city", "Rock of the carnival" and others. The Platters were inducted into the vocal group Hall of fame in 1998 and the rock and roll Hall of fame in 1990.
