One of America’s greatest R&B groups of all time, the O’Jays became the definitive model for Philly Soul starting in the early 1970’s with the massive hits “Back Stabbers” and “Love Train” and continued to have hits throughout the decade. The album “Super Bad” was released in 1971 on a tiny label, shortly before the band signed to the Philadelphia International label and saw their fortunes reversed. Often overlooked, the rare album “Super Bad” reveals a unique soul band on the brink of success. Presented here is the original album, newly remastered.
