RHAPSODY FOR TRUMPET combines elements of contemporary music, cool jazz and the film noir genre in thirteen elegant, timeless compositions. For the first time, the trumpet is the focus of this studio album by the composer and multi-instrumentalist Gerhard Daum. The clear and expressive trumpet tone that characterizes the pieces on the album has associations with greats of jazz such as Chet Baker and Miles Davis.
