Dmitry Sinkovsky is one of the most exciting early music artists of the young generation. He began his career as a violinist with renowned ensembles of historical performance practice (including Il Giardino Armonico and Accademia Bizantina) before founding La Voce Strumentale in 2011. For his debut on GLOSSA he presents two of Beethoven's major concertante works, the Violin Concerto op. 61 and the Triple Concerto op. 56, the latter of which has been recorded here for the first time since 1974 (!) on period instruments. His illustrious musical comrades-in-arms are Russian piano legend Alexei Lubimov and Alexander Rudin, cellist and conductor of the Moscow-based orchestra Musica Viva.
