Bjørn Aslaksen - Memories, Dreams & Songs 2 (2020)

Aslaksen was probably best known as a composer, arranger and bandleader for Løgnaslaget. However, he started as a rock musician, and his most famous band was Barock (formerly Witchcraft), a local "superband" where Aslaksen was the big driver.

Later he played for a long time in Ryfylke Visegruppe, which was his haunt during the so-called Stavangerrock wave.

Bjørn was the son of Kåre Aslaksen, who meant a lot to Stavanger's jazz and singing community. It was he who wrote "Just a blue road". Uncle Paul was also a jazz guitarist.

Bjørn Aslaksen released his first solo album, the instrumental album "Memories Dreams and Songs 1" in 2020, under the name "Aslaksen". He died the same year, after a long illness ..
