Jess Best - Jess Best (2020)

Vocalist and songwriter Jess Best is fast emerging as a major talent. A NY native, Best was educated at Wesleyan University, where she studied jazz and various forms of world music in school and collaborated with many dynamic young musicians who have gone on to make waves. She recently released her debut album Gone Baby, a landscape of modern soul, twisting jazz into blues and R&B. The album is grounded in colorful progressions, deep grooves, rich harmonies and nuanced lyrics combined together to create a raw and intimate conversation.
