Various Artists - Smooth Jazz #1's (2000)

As the title suggests, Smooth Jazz Number Ones is a compilation of some of the biggest hits from the light jazz radio format. Highlights include such chart-toppers as saxophonist Paul Taylor's "Pleasure Seeker," longtime Warlock recording artist Kim Waters' "Secrets Told," Keiko Matsui's "Bridge Over the Stars," and Nestor Torres' "Velvet Nights." Also included are Walter Beasley's hit "Nice and Easy" and George Jinda's smooth interpretation of the Temptations classic "Just My Imagination." No real surprises here, but fans of the genre will not be disappointed.
