Borrowed Tunes, Vol. 1 – out September 25th – is an album of covers many years in the making. Frequently playing up to 3 hour-long bar gigs, Maimone spends a lot of time covering other artists, so this is a collection of some of his favorites. Highlights include “Call Your Girlfriend,” “How Will I Know,” and “Samson,” which take on a new and deeply personal meaning when sung by a gay man such as Maimone.
