Linntett - A Traveller's Tale (2020)

"It is glorious! Saxophones come flying from everywhere, condensing into rotating clouds - only to dissolve again a short time later in all directions!" So saxophonist Niels Klein raves about the sound of Kira Linn's sextet. The 26-year-old baritone saxophonist was already fascinated by big bands like those of Count Basie or Duke Ellington when she was a teenager. In 2016 she founded her own little big band, the "Linntett", with whom she is now presenting her second album. As the title suggests, "A Traveller's Tale" is about travelling to cities and special places. And about encounters with people.
