Christia Visser - Gemaklik Verlore (2020)

Christia describes the style of her debut album as pop and indie pop. Choosing the songs for the album, she asked herself, “Does it touch me in any way? Does it turn me on lightly? And if it turns me on lightly, then we go with it ". Most of the creation was done during the lock time, so there was time to sit and write. There were no workshops, but some apps were used to trying to mix it up and put it all together. Christia reckons it really only came together for her when she got permission to record in the studio. “I wrote all the Afrikaans songs and we recorded two English songs, "She says.
