The trio AAM unites three Swedish improvisational musicians from different generations. Together, they create a liberal and cross-border music with a large dynamic range and a strong presence.

Tonight the trio releases their first CD, "Mollymawk", released by the Portuguese company Creative Sources.

The pianist Arne Forsén is a musician who moves freely between stylistic barriers. As a member of the Brus Trio, he has collaborated and toured with jazz icons such as Roscoe Mitchell, John Tchicai and Charles Tyler. He has also participated in projects with European free improvisers such as Paul Lovens, Phil Minton and Roger Turner and collaborated with composers and ensembles in Swedish contemporary music. For many years he had a close collaboration with the choir master Alagi M´Bye from Gambia before his death in 2018. In early 2019, Arne released an album with Swedish folk music, "Visa from Dorotea", which received glowing reviews in the Swedish music press.

Drummer Andreas Axelsson has been involved for several years in the pianist Lisa Ullén's critically acclaimed quartet and in a number of more or less fixed constellations that range from jazz and free improvisation to projects involving dance and electroacoustic music. He has toured in Scandinavia, Eastern and Central Europe and can be heard on about twenty record productions released on companies in France, Germany, Norway, Denmark, Sweden and Japan.

Mats Dimming is frequently hired as a bassist in several different contexts that span free improvised music, jazz with trumpeter Jan Allan, experimental rock and Swedish folk music. As a member of the young free jazz trio APUH, he has appeared on three albums and toured in Europe and the USA. Mats has also released two solo albums with improvisations for double bass which have received good reviews.
