Joensuu 1685 - ÖB (2020) Hi-Res

In 2008, Joensuu 1685 broke into the open with their very first album. Following this, the Finnish psychedelic rock duo were on their toes until they mysteriously disappeared from circulation before miraculously reappearing in this chaotic year with their long-awaited successor by the name of ÖB.

During these twelve years of radio silence, it is clear that Joensuu 1685 has things to say and in music. It is with lyrical and baroque flights that the Finnish duo intends to show us all the colors with the weightless departure that is "Hey My Friend (We're Here Again)" stretching over seven long minutes before to continue with “Sweet Savior” and “All Around You”.

ÖB will tell the story of Peter Krook, a common ancestor of Mikko, imprisoned in landscapes of Ostrobothnia with no escape. The protagonist therefore seeks an escape through psychedelic and romantic pieces such as “Gloria” and “The Most Luckiest Man”. But as and when these adventures, the character evolves and takes a step back from his life in order to remember that hope is alive after all, a change that we perceive when listening to "Running In Our" Graves ”and the celestial conclusion entitled“ I'm In Paradise ”making this second disc with a dramatic look marking the imperial return of Joensuu 1685.
