The album, Foxy Orthodoxy, is inspired by acts like Courtney Barnett, Alvvays, The Lemonheads, The Pains of Being Pure At Heart, Surfer Blood and Built To Spill. With an acoustic guitar borrowed from Tracyanne Campbell (Camera Obscura/Tracyanne & Danny) and a bass borrowed from Teenage Fanclub’s Francis MacDonald, the album was recorded in 2019 and is part of a shared universe alongside Kev’s critically acclaimed comic Warpaint (on global release next year, published by a legendary Franco/American comic company.)

Foxy Orthodoxy is a document of our times, exploring themes prevalent in Kev’s journalism – anarchism, feminism, gender politics, the ideological culture wars, the cult of personality and the hypocrisy of the human heart.
