In a decade, Hundredth has made a name for itself on the American indie scene. The South Carolina quintet is the type to diversify their music in order to make them more talked about throughout their discography. This year, they come back with a sixth album called Somewhere Nowhere.

Starting off with somewhat jungle influences (also found on "Way Out"), Hundredth promises us an extraordinary musical journey. This gets along with songs halfway between dream-pop, shoegaze and synthetic new wave that are "Out of Sight" or the 80's allure of "Bottle It Up" and "Silver" where the American group digs the furrow. with hypnotic and celestial compositions. The same can be said for "Whatever" and "Slack" which are revealed to us through repeated listening.

Somewhere Nowhere will just as well convene LCD Soundsytem as The Cure as well as The Neighborhood with titles with cinematographic hints whether on "Iridescent", "Why" or on "End Up Alone". Hundredth brings their moult to life with this brighter and more exciting record showing they have more than one string to their bow.
