After spending four weeks on the Billboard charts with a self-titled LP and a European tour in the works, the Corporation was on the verge of stardom. A disagreement with Capitol Records about royalties and artistic freedom ended their deal, pushing the rising Milwaukee psych rock quartet towards Sauk City to cut twin albums for Cuca’s Age of Aquarius imprint—1970’s Hassles on My Mind and Get On Your Swing. Jim Kirchstein captured a gnarly psychedelic supernova exploding inside a disillusioned band just inches from fame.
