The three composers brought together on this CD are indubitably great melodists, each with his own means of expression. Together they represent the past, love, youth, and hope for the future, in a culturally rich country, France. After a Komitas concert in Paris in 1914, Debussy praised him and said “I bow before your genius”. It is now the turn of Claves to offer music lovers a bouquet of these same melodies, in their original version.
