Just four years after his successful debut album “Excited Sounds” (the album received great praise from the specialized critics), Rafa M. Guillén returns with his Jazz Walkers with this new proposal that he now presents to us.

In line with the previous work, “Shining Forever” (Shining Forever), again offers us a heterogeneous and eclectic look at jazz, a jazz in which the sounds, languages and harmonies of traditional jazz are mixed with rhythms and textures of Latin music, Brazilian or flamenco.

Each of the tracks on the album has a very different “flavor” and “color”, so we can find a theme with traditional rhythm (Mojo), a samba (Capiniña), a Latin (My Dear Friend), a rumba ( Rumba Blues), a funk (Mediterranean Green) or a ballad (Shining Forever).

In addition to the musicians that make up the base of the group, we find an extensive bunch of prestigious musicians who have also collaborated in the recording: Ramón Cardo, Perico Sambeat, Pedro Cortejosa, Leandro Perpiñán, Agustín Sánchez, Cristóbal Agramonte, Fco. Blanco Latino , David Pastor, Luis Casado, Miguel Santiago, Vicente Ibáñez and Richard Gutiérrez. As an anecdote, it should be noted that Rafa's nephews, César and Clara, aged 11 and 9 respectively, also contribute their bit, recording with their violins on the song “Brillando por siempre” dedicated to their uncle Javi.

All the instrumental bases that make up the album were recorded in their entirety at the same time, from February 14 to 16, 2020 at the Hanare Studios in Córdoba by the sound engineer Lauren Serrano. Subsequently, more recordings were made in this same study and in other studies in Valencia, Cádiz, Girona and Granada. Mixing and mastering were done by Lauren Serrano at Hanare Studios. The Artistic Production has been in charge of Rafa M. Guillén and Ángel Andrés Muñoz Márquez. The album is released under the label of the prestigious jazz label, "Sedajazz Records."
