With this second album, Nuri brings the listener into a cloud of layered sonic details that build a multi-sensory experience, tinging the audience’s imagination with nuances as they listen.

IRUN acts as a sequel to the first, creating an amalgam of then and now by combining archival field recordings from diverse African folkloric traditions with electronic beats, polyrhythmic grooves echoing the techniques of North African trance music.
