Tino Gonzales & Los Reyes Del K.o. - Funky Tortillas (2010)

Pretty weird concept for a regular CD. Thought Gonzales and the guys from Spain had been recording together. No. This CD feature five tracks by each party. I really dig Los Reyes Del K.O.'s music; they know how to play that traditional stuff with enthusiasm and power. Marcos Coll is a great harmonica player, and Adrian Costa simply ranks amongst the best European blues vocalists. Tino's music's fine, too. Wish he would develop sort-of a trademark style for himself.
