How good this album is and the bonus demo tracks are a great addition. This is a star-studded folk-rock single of the mid-70s in the spirit of Richard Sautar and a bit of Tim Buckley with vocals closer to Sautar. The title track will stay in my head for a few days, a nice warm analog sound, with instruments almost turning into the sound of "real people", only a little more "professional". "Old Richard" is a killer too, cheers up a bit, sounds like some of those early Steely Dan demos. The entire album is simply awesome and anyone who has been in the private press from the late 60s to mid 1970s will be totally into these juicy rockers. Not in the big leagues like the first record by Southar or Chris Thompson, but still more than mustard. All this is really very well done, works and successfully brings the listener into the "zone". The rare acoustic demo bonus tracks are amazing too.
