Classical meets jazz. Tango is paired with funk and world music. Improvisation creates uniqueness. Evergreens from various genres are mercilessly dissected and reassembled. Schubert jazzes. Bach visits Brazil. Mozart feels the blues. With “Dattelkerne” the pianist from L‘art de Passage had already presented a highly acclaimed solo (piano) work. On the second album the trio improvises - about Grieg, Schubert, Bach (the Italian concert), Piazzolla as well as their own pieces. Percussion, celesta and keyboard are sometimes added and complemented in a subtle way.
