Frederic Viale - Pars en thèse jazz (2020)

In this album, Frédéric Viale pays homage to his masters and to traditional jazz, jazz that swings. That’s why he surrounded himself with renowned jazzmen. Emanuele Cisi on tenor saxophone and Aldo Zunino on double bass. Humberto Amesquita on trombone and Adam Pache on drums. Among the eleven pieces of this disc, seven are the compositions of Frédéric: Friday the 13th, Empreinte Celeste, IKA, Azul, OLE, Swing interdict, Paul Chambers. Four pieces are arrangements of compositions by Mulgrew Miller, Van Heusen & Delage, Vincent Scotto and Kenny Barron.
