Whilst the organ music of Sigfrid Karg-Elert has taken a major place in the repertoire of church music around the world, his voca music remains sadly neglected. This release, of his complete choral music, goes some way to rectifying the situation. This is heartfelt and moving music given excellent performances under the direction of conductor Gregor Meyer.
