In 1994 Ernst Bier and Mack Goldsbury decided to start a joint band. More than 25 years have passed now and the list of musicians who have played in this band is very long.

A total of four CDs have been released in which Reggie Moore, Martin Lillich, Herb Robertson, Frank Möbus, Ed Schuller, Maciej Fortuna and Mathias Bätzel played along. The current quartet with the pianist Rolf Zielke and the bassist Erik Unsworth from El Paso / Texas has existed since 2016. In July 2019 these recordings were made in the Greve recording studio in Berlin. The American jazz percussionist Kevin Burrell, who lives in Berlin, took part in three titles as a guest.

Let yourself be carried away by the tremendous playing mood of these excellent musicians. You live with and through your music, a fact that you pass on to the listener without exception.

stunning album, Mack is such an underrated sax player, therefore I grabbed his few vinyls and cds whenever I could find them...
