“The idea of ​​Stela Korljan and the libretto by Ivana Stepanovic touched me from the beginning: To write a ballet, a dance opera on the subject of Nordic myths, the Icelandic Edda, the Viking story of Adam and Eve, here Ask and Embla, the be begotten by the gods, create a world in happiness and then succumb to the attraction of the seven deadly sins. A cleansing, destructive storm breaks over humanity, a second chance for respectful interaction arises, a fulfilling, young perspective.

As so often, my music moves between stools, I shoot it out of my stomach regardless of genre or style - the sometimes overwhelming feelings have to be “right” - without “translation errors”, I rely entirely on what “it” “Does with me.
