Makoto Ozone continues to play an active role on a global scale across genres. While working as a jazz pianist on the front lines since the 1980s, in recent years he has performed with many major classical orchestras in Japan and overseas. As he celebrates his 60th birthday in March 2021, he will release his first complete solo piano album in 13 years.

In the finest sound of Japan's leading classical hall "Art Tower Mito Concert Hall ATM", two grand pianos, Steinway D type and Yamaha CFX, are played according to songs, and Kosone is active in both jazz and classical fields. Vacuum pack to the fullest on two discs.

On the classical side, Mozart, Ravel, and Prokofiev's masterpieces are performed with improvisation. The jazz side entitled "SONGS" consists of eight songs, which will be the first recording of the album, centering on newly written songs. The original song "Oberek" arranged for two pianos and the improvisational performance "Conversations with Myself-Parts 1 and 2" were overdubbed with Steinway + Yamaha.
