I think that the outstanding music of György Szabados has not been fully appreciated yet. But I know this man, love and cherish the memory of our shared experiences. He was a strange and beautiful blend of Béla Bartók and Thelonious Monk. I believe his disciples are going ahead because he was a great scholar and a great teacher. (Anthony Braxton)
