Philippe Mouratoglou - Exercices d'évasion (2013) [Hi-Res]

Classically trained by Pablo Marquez, Wim Hoogewerf and Roland Dyens, guitarist Philippe Mouratoglou soon felt the need to expand his expressive range and repertoire. Using building blocks from Renaissance and contemporary classical as well as traditional music, Mouratoglou molded his personal and unique jazz style, flavored by the blues of Robert Johnson and the flamenco guitar of Pedro Soler. Exercises blends all of these disparate influences into a fascinating improvisatory masterpiece.
