Drehwerk - Fremdeinspeisung (2021)

The jazz trio Drehwerk came together in 2015 in Innsbruck, Tyrol. In the course of their training, the musicians created an individual musical concept in intensive work phases, which celebrated its debut with their first album Constant Structure in 2018. After constant further development, they want to present in 2021 their new album Fremdeinspeisung. Today, all three musicians live and work in the city of Vienna.

Jazz that goes further - the original compositions of the three jazz musicians complement traditional and modern sounds with elements from any style and is infused with everything that has characterised the music of recent years: harmonic tension meets form-giving ostinati, spherical surfaces are complemented by clear structure in rhythm and groove, diverse improvisations, which very often allow the breakout from any parameters, enliven.

The trio has performed on a national level so far and played at renowned venues/festivals such as the Treibhaus Innsbruck, Jazzit Salzburg, Porgy & Bess Vienna, Outreach Music Festival, Südtirol Jazz Festival, etc.
