Midnight. Hallelujah. is Brooke’s first radio release since The Works in 2008. But don’t think she was taking it easy in the meantime. "In 2010 I put my career on hold in order to take care of my mother – she had Alzheimer’s Disease, and there was no way I was not going to be there for her." After her mother’s passing in 2012, Brooke developed her own one-woman musical, My Mother Has 4 Noses, which ran Off-Broadway in New York City in 2014 for 3 months, to rave reviews. She is currently working on a new original musical with playwright Geoffrey Nauffts. Now comes Midnight.
