Haunt - Beautiful Distraction (2021)

You can’t stop Trevor William Church, you can only hope to contain him. The creative force behind heavy metal heroes Haunt continues his unprecedented creative streak with the first new song from the fifth Haunt studio LP since 2018 (actually, sixth if you count last year’s Triumph, a collection of re-recored material). Beautiful Distraction will officially drop via Church’s eponymous Church Recordings on April 2, but you can sample its wares with the *cough* haunting synth-drenched rocker “In Our Dreams.”

“‘In Our Dreams’ is on the darker side of a love song,” Church tells Decibel. “When we are approaching the end of our days what it actually might be like to say good-bye. All the times shared in one long dream.”
