Raymond Scott - At Home With Dorothy And Raymond (2011) [Hi-Res]

I really like this album, it's sort of classic Raymond Scott in that there are bits of madness all over the place (just read the first track titles for a start) mixed with superbly produced jazzy things and a few numbers sung by his lovely wife who later divorced him - not because of this LP though, more than likely because he spent all his money on expensive computers to make experimental music and not her. The music is (as usual for Mr Scott) charismatic, cheerful and extremely tight; love their version of Tiger Rag and Sometimes I'm Happy, and great version of Singin' In The Rain, which is good because I think it might just rain today.
