Adam Baldwin - Songs for the Parlour (2021) Hi Res

Dartmouth rocker Adam Baldwin presents his new EP of lounge-act songs, Songs for the Parlour. The all-covers release features seven tracks that Baldwin presented during his Cross-Canada Chin Up live-stream series, paying homage to the likes of Sheryl Crow, Fleetwood Mac, Dolly Parton, Backstreet Boys, and more!

Some years back, a friend of mine opened a bar on Halifax’s waterfront. The place came with a piano. Any chance I could take to get a few free pints, sing some songs, and head home with some coin from a tip jar, I’d happily indulge. As much as I enjoy playing rock 'n' roll to late-night revellers, there’s nothing like sitting down for two hours and reimagining other folk’s songs that I’ve come to love over the years. These songs are mainstays of what I like to call my weekend lounge act.
