Comment : Daniel Mille is an accordionist and a chaser of dreamlike landscapes. His lunar singing and his way of lingering tempo, lead to the borders of the accordion s lyrical possibilities. Nine sumptuous albums, many rewards, prestigious collaborations (from Barbara, Trintignant through Nougaro) and a few decades later, Daniel devotes for the first time a whole album to a unique composer, Astor Piazzolla. Inextricably linked to tango, Piazzolla had the audacity to reinvent the grammar in terms of classical and jazz organicity to generate a revolutionary language.
