Otto Klemperer was one of the most influential figures of classical music of 20th-century, closely related to Warner Classics as he was contracted for years with EMI and recorded intensely with the Philharmonia Orchestra founded by Walter Legge. Specialising in Austro-German romanticism, he led numerous important recordings in this repertoire. Here is a collection of overtures mostly by Weber but also including Humperdinck's Dream Pantomime from Hansel and Gretel, and Gluck's overture to Iphignénie en Aulide - a favorite of Richard Wagner which he later arranged for symphonic orchestra.
