Albert Bolliger - The Organ of the Roskilde Cathedral (2005) [SACD]

There are only a few historic organs in Denmark. The organ of the Cathedral Church of Roskilde is certainly acknowledged to be an instrument of international repute.
It was on this organ, built in 1554 and 1654 and restored between 1988–1991, that Sinus made its first SACD last october. The recording features music by Dietrich Buxtehude and works by composers who either came from the old Danish kingdom or spent aat least part of their careers in Copenhagen or the modern Denmark. Even more famous ist the Compenius organ at Frederikborg castle. Our recording was distinguished with «5 Diapason».
